Radiesse®

NR Aesthetics offer Radiesse® services for clients in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire with a professional and safe environment. Take a look through the tabs below for more information on the service and feel free to contact Nicky with any questions.

Radiesse® is an advanced dermal filler made from calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) microspheres suspended in a smooth gel carrier. It is used to restore volume, enhance facial contours, and improve overall skin quality. Results are visible immediately after treatment, with continued improvement over time due to natural collagen stimulation.
Radiesse® is commonly used to treat areas such as the cheeks, jawline, nasolabial folds, and marionette lines, creating a more lifted, structured, and youthful appearance.

Hyperdilute Radiesse® is a specialised technique where the product is diluted prior to injection, allowing it to be evenly distributed across larger or more delicate areas. Rather than adding volume, this approach focuses on improving skin texture, elasticity, and firmness.

It is particularly effective for treating the neck, décolletage, hands, and body areas affected by skin laxity or crepiness, delivering subtle, natural-looking rejuvenation.

Hybrid Radiesse® combines Radiesse® (calcium hydroxylapatite) with a hyaluronic acid (HA) dermal filler. This advanced approach allows for immediate volume and contouring alongside long-term collagen stimulation in a single treatment.

The HA component provides instant hydration and softness, while Radiesse® works beneath the skin to stimulate the body’s natural collagen production, making this technique ideal for areas requiring structure with natural movement.

The number of treatments required depends on the treatment area, technique used, and individual skin concerns.

For standard Radiesse® (volume and contouring):
Most patients achieve optimal results with one treatment
Some patients may benefit from a second session
Maintenance or top-up treatments are usually recommended after 12–18 months

For Hyperdilute Radiesse® (skin quality and collagen stimulation):
A course of 1–3 treatments is commonly recommended
Treatments are typically spaced 4–6 weeks apart
Maintenance treatments may be advised once yearly, depending on skin response

Radiesse® is a well-established injectable treatment with a strong safety profile. However, as with any injectable procedure, some risks and side effects may occur.

Common, temporary side effects include:

Mild swelling
Redness
Bruising
Tenderness or discomfort at the injection site
These usually resolve within a few days.
Less common risks include:
Lumps or firmness under the skin
Asymmetry

Radiesse® has minimal downtime, and most patients can return to normal activities immediately. Mild swelling, redness, tenderness, or bruising may occur and typically settle within a few days.

After treatment, avoid touching or massaging the area unless advised, strenuous exercise, heat (such as saunas or hot baths), and alcohol for 24–48 hours. Full aftercare instructions will be provided at your appointment.
